Konnect 4G
To briefly introduce ourselves, we are embedded engineers from Crevavi team located in the Heritage city of Mysuru, Karnataka.
Crevavi team is always in a zeal to learn about the communication technologies, about the cloud technology and to publish the data to the server and gain the domain knowledge in the communication and cloud platform, so to drive our company strategy in IOT domain.
This Project is a IOT demonstrator project, The hardware includes Quectel chip set, which is used in the communication domain, for example in mobiles like iPhone and android phones, due to its compatibility with the wireless network.
The Konnect-4G is our custom-built IoT device hardware and software platform, with edge computing capability, GPS receiver and uses 4G cellular technology to connect any industrial asset to the cloud.
The Block diagram of the Konnect4G IOT Based Project Demonstration is illustrated in the figure.

Data can then be analysed on the cloud, to provide business insights to our IoT customers.
The AWS Cloud is connected to AWS IoT Core from the Konnect-4G device, via the Secure MQTT channel and publish data containing GPS coordinates and the status of 2 Digital inputs, namely, Digital Input1 and Digital Input2 along with the timestamp data is published. AWS Sitewise is created and configured to display the received values on the dashboard.
We have successfully demonstrated one of the capabilities of our IoT device, with 4G capability, our Konnect-4G IoT devices can accelerate industry 4.0 journey and achieve business outcomes like Predictive maintenance, Predictive quality, and Remote asset management.
In future, The Crevavi design team will to 5G cellular technology with programmable e-SIM to connect any industrial asset to the cloud.
